The resulting game offers a unique combination of team and individual play.The background is Kraków; the proud capital of Medieval Poland; where four secretive and malicious groups are locked in a power struggle: the Good and Decent Citizens; the Monks & Mystics; the Secret Societies and the Underworld. The players split up into two alliances (teams); which compete through a fascinating card game using special Intrigue Cards. They try to carry out their own devious plans and frustrate their opponents? attempts to gain influence in different areas of the town.However; there is a hidden level: each player has his own; secret Identity as master of one of the four groups. Through this role; he secretly competes against all others; including his own teammate.
